Closure announcement

27th March 2018

After many years of association with WWAG – and, before that, Elmbridge Mental Health Association (WWAG) – it is with extreme sadness and great regret that I write to advise you that the three remaining Trustees have decided to close WWAG down with effect 31st March 2018.

As you know, The Mary Frances Trust (MFT) is now commissioned by Surrey County Council to deliver mental health community services in Elmbridge and you, therefore, need to refer to them for ongoing support either on 01372 375400 or by email to website:

The WWAG office will remain manned for a short period to facilitate the transfer of Clients to MFT but, please be advised, WWAG will no longer be offering support services from the end of this week. Please be advised that the Monday, Friday and Saturday groups will continue until at least the end of April however staff will keep you updated as more information is available.

WWAG did so much good when it was at its best – particularly when Roger Coleman was at the helm – and, therefore, as I said at the beginning of this letter, it is a matter of enormous personal sorrow to Barry Hitchens, Ray Gardner and myself that we have arrived at the current position.

The three of us – and all the staff at WWAG – take this opportunity to wish you the very best for the future.

Yours sincerely,

Barry Judd
