People – love ‘em or hate ‘em, our relationships to others has been scientifically proven to directly affect our mental health.

With that in mind, our services are designed to strengthen this crucial, but often overlooked, pillar of wellbeing.

We offer the opportunity to meet new people who, like you, are on a journey to enhance their wellness. Our social activities provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment in which you and others can discuss your experiences and perhaps your reasons for coming to Wellness with a Goal. (Alternatively, you can thrash your peers at Scrabble – it’s up to you.)

As well as social activities, we also run Peer Support Groups and a Wellness Coaching Service. With a collaborative effort, it won’t be long before you’re building strong and healthy relationships, both at home and in your wider community. See our services below.

Social Activities

Meet new people and socialise at our regular social activities including coffee mornings, lunches and monthly comedy nights.

Peer Support Groups

Our Peer Support Groups offer you a great opportunity to meet others with a shared understanding of what you may be experiencing. All of our support groups run as drop ins – no need to book, just turn up.

We’re currently running an Anxiety Support Group and a Men’s Support Group, with plans to introduce more support groups in future.

Our fantastic Anxiety Support Group facilitator, Clare, has her own blog for sharing tips about managing and reducing anxiety. Wellness Coaching Service

If you find relationships with others difficult, you may find it useful to talk this through with someone. Our Wellness Coaching Service can provide you with emotional and practical support, and can signpost you to other relevant local organisations that provide support with personal relationships, such as Relate.
