Operations Manager

We are seeking an Operations Manager for an innovative and progressive mental health charity.

The organisation has grown in terms of geographic remit and has exiting plans to bring in additional income to create and deliver a range of new services. The role is complex and challenging, we are therefore seeking an individual with a strong track record in fundraising and commissioning services and are looking for someone with a passion for mental health and wellbeing activities and events which promote healthy body/healthy mind.

You will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of paid staff and volunteers, and managing the services and day-to-day activities. You will be actively involved in fundraising, helping source and develop bids and tenders, managing existing funders & partners to ensure contracts are met and services sustained; bringing the message of mental health, wellbeing and inclusive communities to their service users and the communities they serve.

With responsibility for overseeing projects that focus on mental health and wellbeing, you will be an experienced people manager with a proven track record in income generation, creating and or developing projects and services that achieve outstanding outcomes and impact.

Excellent organisational, communication, financial and project management skills are a must. An interest in and substantial track record of delivering mental health services is vital so that your passion can feed into the important projects they provide.

Based in Walton-on-Thames with regular travel to delivery locations across Surrey you must be a car driver and owner.

Group Facilitator

We are seeking a skilled and accomplished Group Facilitator to be part of our innovative mental health charity. You will be creating, developing and delivering a range of workshops and groups to enhance people’s wellbeing and aid their recovery. Delivery will be at different times of day in venues in Spelthorne and across West and East Elmbridge for clients with a range of mental health difficulties.

This is a busy and demanding, but deeply rewarding role.

You will have extensive experience in running a range of workshops and groups to clients with a range of mental health difficulties and have demonstrable experience of supporting volunteers. Desirable qualification in counselling or psychotherapy accredited with BACP and or UKCP.

You will be based in Walton-on-Thames with regular travel across Spelthorne and West and East Elmbridge, you must be a car driver and owner.
